The Final of the Southern Region Chinese Public Speaking Contest – The Chinese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City Cup – has concluded with a resounding success. This event marks a significant academic milestone, which Lac Hong University (LHU) was honored to host.

On September 5, 2025, at The Mira Central Park hotel in Bien Hoa, after two intense rounds, the top prize was awarded to Ms. Le Thi Yen Nhi, a student from Lac Hong University. Her exceptional linguistic proficiency and captivating artistic performance impressed the judging panel, earning her a near-perfect score. This achievement not only brings pride to the individual but also serves as a testament to the high-quality training in Chinese Language at Lac Hong University, a trusted and reputable institution in the southern region.

The contest, spearheaded by the Office of International Affairs and the Faculty of Oriental Studies, brought together more than 500 students from 20 universities and colleges across the region. Additionally, 38 Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) enterprises or Foreign-Invested Enterprises (FIEs) participated as sponsors and attendees. This event was not merely a platform for students to showcase their linguistic abilities but also an opportunity for Lac Hong University to assert its role as a bridge connecting education, diplomacy, and business.
By being entrusted with the hosting of this contest by the Chinese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, LHU has once again demonstrated its prestige and standing in providing high-quality language personnel. This effort contributes to the strengthening of cooperative relationships with diplomatic agencies, FIEs that use Chinese, and other educational institutions in the same field.
