Strengthening Vietnam-China educational cooperation: LHU receives Huangshan University for visit and collaboration

On February 17 morning, 2025, LHU honorably welcomed a delegation from Huangshan University (HSU), China. This visit marked a significant milestone in strengthening educational ties between the two institutions, and opening up more opportunities for student exchanges, scientific research, and academic development.

The HSU delegation was represented by Mr. Zhang Xiaoming – Vice Rector; Mr. Li Qingjiu – Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange; and Mr. Zhu Hongbing – Director of the Office of International Research and Education, School of Tourism. From LHU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Lam – Vice Rector; MA. Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh – Head of the Office of International Affairs; and MA. Vu Van Tuan – Deputy Head of the Office of Student Affairs warmly welcomed and worked with the delegation.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged ideas and discussed potential collaboration opportunities, specifically in the student - faculty exchange programs, scientific research and joint international seminars and conferences.

HSU, located in Huangshan, Anhui province, is a prestigious public university with a current enrollment of over 18,000 students and a diverse range of academic disciplines. HSU also has extensive experience in receiving and training international students from 14 different countries, making it a reliable and promising partner for LHU in fostering international educational cooperation.

Leaders from the two sides also highly valued their partnerships and shared the possibilities of future cooperation, particularly in student and faculty exchanges.
