LHU completed the assessment of four study programmes by AUN-QA

After two hard working days, on the morning of March 9th, 2023, the ASEAN University Network (AUN) together with LHU organized the closing session of the 320th AUN-QA Assessment at programme level as planned. Four assessed study programmes were Japanese Studies, Construction Engineering Technology, Finance - Banking, Automation and Control Engineering Technology.

LHU sincerely thanks the AUN-QA assessors, AUN-QA council members and secretariat for their contributions to the development of LHU's training programs

At the closing session, the AUN-QA assessors presented the preliminary results, strengths, potentials, as well as areas for improvement of the aforementioned programs.

Thereby, the delegation highly appreciated the quality of LHU's quality assurance from facilities to training programs,... Besides, AUN-QA assessors pointed out some areas for improvement such as: The Lab model, innovative rooms should be expanded to promote the strengths of the University; English should be used in teaching; Teaching - learning activities and assessment methods of the AUN-QA training programs should to be linked constructively to achieve each PLO (Program Learning Outcome).

Official assessment results are expected to be announced in two months.

The AUN-QA assessors finished the 320th onsite visit in the AUN-QA programme assessment

LHU currently has 6 AUN-QA accredited undergraduate programs including Information Technology; Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology; Accounting; English Language; Business Administration and Pharmacy. 

LHU is planning to apply for educational quality assurance accreditation at institutional level under the Ministry of Education and Training’s framework in the coming time.
