VND 84 million presented to 20 AO/dioxin victims

On January 7 morning, 2025, at the Headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Unions of Bien Hoa City, Ms. Do Thi Lan Dai - Chairwoman of the University Council, together with the Youth Union – Student Association presented Tet gifts and allowances Quarter III and IV/2024 to 20 AO/dioxin victims in Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province. The total value of gifts and subsidies amounted to VND 84 million.

In the warm atmosphere of the early days of the new year, the event is not only a charitable activity but also a practical action deeply demonstrating LHU's sense of responsibility and compassion for the community. The event also aims to share the pains and losses that AO victims daily suffer from. The gifts and support given to AO/dioxin victims are hoped to encourage them to try to overcome difficulties and strive to rise up.

Earlier on July 23, 2024 Ms. Do Thi Lan Dai together with the Youth Union – Student Association visited and donated gifts and subsidies Quarter II/2024 worth VND 24 million to 20 AO/dioxin victims in Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province.

This occasion, in addition to quarterly subsidies, the University presented Tet gifts to help families of AO/dioxin victims to enjoy Tet holidays.

LHU and Ms. Do Thi Lan Dai's family quarterly subsidize 90 AO/dioxin victims in Dong Nai. The monthly value is VND 400,000/an AO/dioxin victim. This is the highest monthly allowance for AO/dioxin victims in the locality.
