Practical Learning: E-commerce Students Gain Real-World Experience through Multi-channel Digital Store Models

Amidst the rapid growth and high demand for practical expertise in the e-commerce industry, modern education must extend beyond theoretical knowledge to integrate deeply with real-world business environments. Guided by this objective, E-commerce students recently participated in the academic-practical program "Exploring Online Business: Building Multi-channel Digital Stores." This initiative allows students to gain hands-on experience in digital business operations directly from the classroom.

Real Learning – Real Implementation – Real Experience

Unlike traditional theoretical approaches, this activity was designed as an experiential learning model, requiring students to directly implement the entire workflow of a real-world e-commerce project. Throughout the program, students were divided into teams to execute specific tasks:

  • - Developing marketing concepts for products, identifying target audiences, and crafting communication messages.

  • - Directly setting up and configuring digital stores on the Haravan platform, including product management, pricing, and interface design.

  • - Integrating Facebook channels and deploying an Omnichannel business model.

  • - Practicing livestream sales, simulating product consultations, introductions, and real-time customer interaction.

Through each stage of implementation, students not only understood how to operate an online store but also gained a clear vision of specialized roles within the e-commerce sector, such as marketing, platform operations, sales, and customer service.

The "Exploring Online Business: Building Multi-channel Digital Stores" activity serves as clear evidence of the E-commerce department's commitment to bridging the gap between theory and practice. Through this program, students were able to:

  • - Engage directly with real business models and enterprises.
