Expanding Technology Horizons – From Lecture Halls to the Global Stage!
Tran Van Hoi, an Artificial Intelligence (AI) major from the Faculty of Information Technology at Lac Hong University (LHU), has officially received an invitation letter to participate in the Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP) at Da-Yeh University, Taiwan.
Prior to this achievement, Van Hoi successfully surpassed nearly 7,000 applicants nationwide to become a Google Student Ambassador 2025, marking a prominent milestone for LHU students within the young Vietnamese technology community.
In addition to that role, Van Hoi is a key member of the SmartMarketer project—a team from LHU's Faculty of Information Technology that excelled in the Pitching Round to officially secure a spot in the Pre-Incubation support list at Innovation Quest 2025. This program is implemented by SIHUB under the direct guidance of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology.
The SmartMarketer project was highly recognized in the category of applications leveraging artificial intelligence and digital transformation for marketing, aiming to assist enterprises in optimizing media efficiency and analyzing consumer behavior.
Securing consecutive outstanding achievements across academics, technology, and innovation clearly demonstrates the proactive learning spirit, global integration capabilities, and professional competence of the Faculty of IT students in the digital era.

Research Project Overview in Taiwan
Within the framework of the TEEP 2026 program, Van Hoi will participate in the following research project:
- Topic: AIoT Applications in Photovoltaic (PV) Systems Monitoring
- Advisor: Professor Huan-Liang Tsai
- Duration: June 2026 to September 2026
- Location: Taiwan
The project focuses on deploying Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) to enhance monitoring and management efficiency for solar power systems—one of the green technology trends receiving substantial global attention today.
