LHU E-Commerce Major Accelerates Enterprise Partnerships in the Digital Economy Era

To enhance application-oriented training quality and strengthen university-industry linkages, a delegation representing the E-Commerce major, Faculty of Information Technology, Lac Hong University (LHU), recently met with GoBuy Vietnam E-Commerce Co., Ltd. to explore potential partnerships in training, internships, and student recruitment.

The delegation was led by Dr. Van Dinh Vy Phuong – Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, and MSc. Bui Thi Thu Trang – Head of the E-Commerce Department, alongside faculty lecturers, the executive board, and members of the ECOMIT E-Commerce Club.

In recent years, the E-Commerce major at Lac Hong University has continuously fostered partnerships with businesses to provide students with a practical, hands-on learning environment. Guided by a market-oriented educational approach, students gain in-depth knowledge in digital business, e-commerce, digital marketing, and e-commerce platform management. Furthermore, they gain early exposure to the industry through corporate visits, internship programs, capstone projects, and professional career activities.

During the meeting, representatives from GoBuy Co., Ltd. shared insights on emerging e-commerce market trends as well as recruitment demands in digital business and e-commerce operations. Both parties discussed the key skills and competencies students need to cultivate to meet industry requirements amid the rapid expansion of the digital economy.
