Are you looking for a dynamic program with broad career opportunities and the chance to “travel – study – experience” right from your first year? Begin that journey with the Tourism and Travel Management program at Lac Hong University – the first Tourism program in Dong Nai to achieve AUN-QA quality accreditation in Southeast Asia.
Being recognized as meeting AUN-QA standards is not only a proud milestone but also evidence of the University’s training quality. AUN-QA is one of the most prestigious quality assurance systems in the ASEAN region, with rigorous criteria regarding curriculum content, academic staff, facilities, and learner satisfaction. Achieving AUN-QA accreditation means that students study in a standardized environment, are assured of learning outcomes, and are fully capable of working in major domestic and international enterprises.
The distinctiveness of the Tourism program at Lac Hong University lies in its philosophy of “practice-integrated training.” Students not only study in classrooms but also engage in practical exposure throughout each academic year. From the first year, students participate in career orientation sessions, thematic talk shows with experienced tour guides, visits to local destinations, and explore the industry from a practical perspective. In subsequent years, field study, internships, and enterprise semesters are regularly organized at reputable travel companies, enabling students to gradually familiarize themselves with a professional working environment. In the past academic year, the program organized activities such as visits to the International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC), sessions on Digital Communication Development Skills, and applications of AI in tourism.

In particular, students can practice directly on campus at Lac Hong Hotel – a standardized training model fully equipped with accommodation practice rooms, restaurant and food service practice rooms, and tour operation practice rooms. This is where students develop practical professional skills ranging from front desk operations and table service to tour coordination and handling professional situations.

A notable highlight of the training program is the annual “Talented Tourism Student” competition organized by the Faculty – an academic playground combined with practical experience. The competition not only allows students to demonstrate their abilities in destination presentation, tour design, and handling real-life situations, but also helps them gain confidence, develop creative thinking, and strengthen professional competence while still at university. It is also an opportunity to identify and nurture potential students to represent the University in regional and national competitions.

Compared to Tourism programs at many other universities, the strength of Lac Hong University lies in the harmonious combination of academic learning and real professional experience. Students study in a friendly, modern environment that continuously innovates teaching methods; at the same time, they have early opportunities to work with enterprises, accumulate skills, and experience real professions with real people from their first year through field visits at tourism enterprises such as Tri An Adventure, Bien Hoa Star, Thai Loan, HD Travel, Dat Viet, Viettravel, and others.

With the mission of training high-quality human resources with global thinking and integration capacity, the Tourism and Travel Management program at Lac Hong University is one of the most systematically invested programs and has one of the highest post-graduation employment rates at the University.
Currently, the program is accepting admission applications through the high school academic transcript-based method. Students only need to graduate from high school to apply for the Tourism program at Lac Hong University – a place that not only teaches a profession but also helps you live your passion to the fullest from your very first year.
