[FAIE] The SV.STARTUP competition helped me gain deeper insights into the market and how a startup operates.

The project team “ROASTED DRIED RAMBUTAN” was fortunate to be selected among the Top 80 of the SV.STARTUP competition held in Can Tho. From 11 April – 13 April 2024, we felt extremely excited and enthusiastic as we participated in the competition.

With the mentorship of the Dean of FAIE – PhD Nguyen Van Tan, we, a group of students from FAIE: Pham Thi Vo Hong Dieu, Vo Thi Hong Cuc, Tran Thi Thanh Tuyen, Nguyen Nhu Quynh, and Pham Minh Tan, gradually conquered this journey.

This was a valuable opportunity to prove our idea, learn from industry experts, and connect with like-minded individuals. The competition was not only a playground but also an excellent learning environment. The workshops, group working sessions, and meetings with successful entrepreneurs opened up new knowledge for me, providing deeper insights into the market and how a startup operates.

Above all, we were proud to receive the Consolation Prize at the National Startup Competition. I felt extremely moved and proud. Our relentless efforts, sleepless nights, and the challenges we overcame were finally rewarded. This recognition was not only an acknowledgment of the hard work of myself and the team but also a strong motivation for us to continue striving and developing the project. The award opened up new opportunities, not only financially but also in terms of networking and learning from other successful individuals. This brought great confidence in our ability to turn the idea into reality, affirming that we are on the right path.

By participating in the competition, we experienced both challenges and inspiration; it was a memorable and meaningful journey. It not only helped me expand my knowledge and skills but also created valuable memories and long-lasting relationships. Every step of the preparation process, from developing the business plan, presenting before the judges, to listening to feedback and adjusting our strategy, were all invaluable experiences that helped me grow. I also felt very proud that our project had the opportunity to be introduced to the public and investors. This was not only a chance to assert ourselves but also to receive valuable feedback to refine our idea.

More than anything, the pride of seeing our project recognized on a large stage truly became a powerful source of motivation. We realized that everything is possible if we have belief, perseverance, and determination. This is the beginning of even greater successes in the future.
