LHU Visits and Works with HD Bank – Dong Nai Branch to Obtain Enterprise Feedback on Interning Students.

Lac Hong University organized a meeting and working session with the Board of Directors of HD Bank – Dong Nai Branch on the morning of 18 September 2023. The purpose of the meeting was to listen to feedback, comments, and evaluations from the bank regarding the 2020 cohort students currently undertaking internships there.

Lac Hong University always places strong emphasis on improving training quality and developing student talent. The partnership between the University and enterprises is highly valued, and internships constitute an important component of students’ academic journey. Therefore, the meeting with HD Bank provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views and jointly enhance the quality of internship programs.

Representatives from Lac Hong University included MB Nguyen Hai Quan – Head of Business Relations Division, and CN Vo Thai Sinh – Internship Management and Business Relations Officer of The Faculty of Administration International Economics. They engaged in an open and constructive discussion with representatives of HD Bank – Dong Nai Branch, including Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Branch Director, and several other managers.

The working session focused on the following aspects:

Performance of Interning Students:
The leadership of HD Bank shared their comments on the progress and performance of Lac Hong University interns. Specific feedback and recommendations were discussed to help improve students’ skills and work performance. Five students demonstrated good internal communication skills and complied with the Bank’s rules and regulations. However, there remain certain limitations, and students need to further improve, proactively seek tasks, and demonstrate greater dynamism and enthusiasm.

Learning and Development Opportunities:
The discussion also focused on how to create the most effective internship environment for students. This includes providing opportunities to learn and develop practical skills in the banking sector, applicable to first-year, second-year, and final-year students.

Future Cooperation:
Both parties discussed ways to strengthen future collaboration to ensure that Lac Hong University students can continue to access internship and employment opportunities within the professional environment of HD Bank.

The meeting concluded with mutual agreement on the importance of supporting and developing young talent. Both sides committed to continuing to build a sustainable partnership to promote the development of students and enterprises.
