AbstrAct:
This study analyzed the role of innovation in businesses and the current innovation of Vietnamese businesses. Based on the study’s findings, some solutions are proposed to facilitate innovation in businesses, including: creating an innovation education ecosystem; strengthening the roles and responsibilities of agencies, departments, and organizations in developing management mechanisms; creating a favorable environment to encourage businessesto invest in science and technology development; innovating the operating mechanisms of science and technology organizations; promoting the implementation of autonomy and self-responsibility mechanisms of public science and technology organizations; making new policies to support and promote businesses with technological innovation and creative startups, etc.
