ABSTRACT:
By analyzing the current geographical indication protection in Vietnam, this study clarified the basic theoretical issues of geographical indications according to current Vietnamese and international laws. The study explored and evaluated the situation related to the establishment of rights and enforcement of laws on geographical indication protection. Based on the study’s findings, a number of recommendations were made to strengthen regulations on geographical
indication protection as well as measures to improve the effectiveness of geographical indication protection activities in Vietnam.
